To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government to indicate, particularly for those who have been on waiting lists for many years, but whose income in the interim has increased albeit insufficiently to purchase at today's prices but pushing them over the income limits to qualify for local authority house now, if consideration can be given to the particular plight including a long-time paying rent, waiving deposit or other means to address their particular concerns given that they are likely to remain in this no man's land for the foreseeable future; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
