277. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he is aware of the extent to which cancellations and congestion are experienced in the Ratoath area of County Meath, in particular Bus Éireann 103 and 105X services; if his Department will provide details of all cancelled and late services in 2023; the times and dates of those cancelled and delayed services; the capacity of those services during peak hours to and from Ratoath, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.

The question raised by the Deputy in relation to the extent to which cancellations and congestion are experienced in the Ratoath area of County Meath, in particular Bus Éireann 103 and 105X services; if his Department will provide details of all cancelled and late services in 2023; the times and dates of those cancelled and delayed services; the capacity of those services during peak hours to and from Ratoath is an operational matter for Bus Éireann.

I have, therefore, referred the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
