As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.

The question raised by the Deputy in relation to details of the bus fleet serving the Bus Éireann 216 and 220 routes; the number of single and double decker buses; the age of each vehicle; and number of drivers assigned to the route is an operational matter for Bus Éireann.
