Defibrillators Provision

126. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the estimated cost of installing a minimum of one defibrillator at each manned full time train station and for all necessary staff in each of those stations to be trained to use them. [44829/23]

As the Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
The questions raised are an operational matter for Iarnród Éireann and I have therefore forwarded the Deputy's questions to the company for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
