To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment to provide an update on his Department's work with the Department of Education to arrange a scheme for the 2023 budget commitment for the provision of up to 6kW photovoltaic panels on all schools; what progress has been made to date on the development of the scheme; what the scheme's provisions are; if 100% funding will be provided; when the scheme will be open for applications; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is continuing to work with the Department of Education to develop the scheme which was announced in the context of Budget 2023. It is expected that the scheme will open shortly with the publication of its provisions, including funding arrangements.
