The provision of non-core funding is of extensive assistance to my Department and is of benefit to citizens, in meeting unexpected challenges of the type posed by Covid-19, the war in Ukraine and the Cost-of Living crisis. It also provides additional opportunities for targeted capital investment in a range of different areas.
