To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if his officials have any future plans to delist Lough Melvin in the Border counties of Leitrim and Fermanagh as a Special Area of Conservation and Natura 2000 site considering that the SAC holds a stock of vulnerable Atlantic salmon (EU Habitats Directive Annex II) and unique brown trout subspecies of sonaghen, gillaroo and ferox; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
