As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.

The query raised by the deputy in relation to the number of persons that have used Bus Éireann bus route 109X in both directions in the years of 2022 and to date in 2023, in tabular form is an operational matter for Bus Éireann.
