The HSE’s Primary Care Reimbursement Service is obliged to ensure the accuracy and reasonableness of claims submitted by healthcare providers for services they have contracted with the state to deliver.
Auditing of healthcare provider’s claims forms part of the process and ensures the integrity of the system.
In relation to the specific information sought by the Deputy, as this is a service matter I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
