As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
The Government remains firmly committed to enhancing specialist services for eating disorders, including improved access and shorter waiting lists. The total allocation for mental health services in 2023 is over €1.2 billion. Further improvements to this important area will continue in line with implementation of Sharing the Vision and the annual HSE Service Plans.
