942. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection her plans to introduce a State life insurance for persons who are excluded from such cover due to chronic illness and other life-long conditions (details supplied). [17916/23]

I thank the Deputy for this Parliamentary Question but regret it is not a matter for my Department. Life insurance is regulated by the Central Bank and monitored by the Department  of Finance.
