284. To ask the Minister for Health the steps he is taking in response to a disproportionate overrepresentation of a group (details supplied) in the 13 maternal death inquests held between 2007 and 2021 which returned verdicts of medical misadventure. [15819/23]

As the HSE's National Women and Infants Health Programme leads on the management, organisation and delivery of maternity, gynaecological and neonatal services, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
