689. To ask the Minister for Health the name of companies in CHO7 and CHO9 that currently have a contract with the HSE to install stairlifts, downstairs toilets and so on in a person’s own house following a recommendation from an occupational therapist. [14982/23]

The Health Service Executive have no such contracts in place.

The Housing Adaptation Grants for Older People and People with a Disabilityassist people to have necessary adaptations, repairs or improvement works carried out to make their accommodation more suitable for their needs. These works can include making it wheelchair-accessible, adding a ground-floor bathroom or toilet, or installing a stairlift.
