To ask the Minister for Finance if he will provide data, if available, on the qualification levels (details supplied) of civil servants in his Department as of 31 December 2022; how educational attainment levels have evolved in recent years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy of the records of the qualification levels of the civil servants in my Department as of 31 December 2022 is set out below in Table A. Table A - Qualifications held on 31st December 2022

Please note the records held are on the basis of voluntary disclosure by staff in a staff survey conducted in 2021 and by details of educational attainment provided by staff on joining my Department. As this information is provided voluntarily it may not be a full reflection of all qualifications held.

The total number of staff serving in my Department on 31 December 2022 was 313.
