To ask the Minister for Finance the estimated first and full-year additional revenue that would be raised in taxes by removing sub-minima rates of the national minimum wage for those aged under 20 years that is, applying the full adult hourly rate of the national minimum wage to all employees under 20 years of age; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by Revenue that they are unable to calculate the revenue effects sought by the Deputy, as they do not hold the necessary information in relation to national minimum wage earners or hours worked by any particular age cohort.
