To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if his Department can confirm delays in the granting of work visas to internationally qualified clinical measurement physiologists who wish to work in Ireland and apply for recognition of their qualifications to the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science; if his Department is taking any steps to alleviate such delays to ensure the availability of such a critical workforce to the healthcare sector here; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Employment Permits Section of the Department informs me that there are currently no delays processing applications for this role. Applications for the role are being processed in line with normal processing timelines. The current processing dates as of 3rdMarch 2023 for each Employment Permit type is as follows:
