To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment whether new battery storage projects are required to participate in and apply to the renewable electricity support scheme to ensure community participation in energy projects with a mandatory community benefit fund to be used for the wider economic, environmental, social and cultural well-being of the local community; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
