738. The Terms and Conditions of the ACRES Scheme require the engagement of an approved ACRES Advisor to prepare and submit the ACRES application, as all applications have to prepared and completed by an approved ACRES Advisor via the Department’s online system and accompanied by a Farm Sustainability Plan.

The engagement of an approved ACRES Advisor by a farmer for the purpose of submitting an application for the Scheme is a private matter between the ACRES applicant and the advisor and is outside the remit of my Department.
