314. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth when legislative proposals arising from the review of the Equality Acts will be brought before the Houses of the Oireachtas; and if measures to prevent the overuse of non-disclosure agreements in discrimination and sexual harassment disputes will be included in those proposals. It is intended that some legislative proposals arising from the review of the Equality Acts will be brought forward before the end of the year. However the nature of these proposals is dependent on further research and consultation. The review is examining the use of non-disclosure agreements by employers in cases of sexual harassment and discrimination along with other issues raised in the public consultation on the review of the Equality Acts. In the coming weeks I intend to publish the report of the submissions to the public consultation which was carried out by my Department.
