317. To ask the Minister for Health the criteria one must meet in order to qualify for free orthodontic treatment from the HSE; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3892/23]

As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.

318. To ask the Minister for Health what options are available to children who have been refused free orthodontic treatment from the HSE; if there is an appeals process or an option to seek a second opinion; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3893/23]
