As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for the development of policy and provision of funding in relation to Active Travel. The National Transport Authority (NTA), meanwhile, has responsibility for the allocation of funding to specific projects and oversight of their development, in cooperation with the local authorities themselves. Given their responsibility in this area, I have referred your question about the Active Travel Programme in Cork City to the NTA for a more detailed reply.
