To ask the Minister for Health the reason a terminally ill young child in the south east who has been battling stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma for almost two and a half years has been refused community paediatric palliative care services, therefore removing the right to die at home; if immediate steps can be taken to provide this vital care to the young child; the reason this palliative care in the home has been refused despite the support of the entire medical team; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is an operational matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the deputy directly, as soon as possible.
