To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the extent to which Tusla is being rendered ineffective by other agencies, with particular reference to family law cases in which certain persons are specifically excluded from discussions affecting the future of the children; if any lessons have been learned from the past in cases in which children’s views were not listened to where numerous tragic consequences followed; if he is satisfied that Tusla is allowed to fulfil its statutory functions without exception; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
