To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will provide an update in respect of his Department’s investigation into the death of approximately 400 bull calves in County Limerick; if he and or his officials have been updated in respect of the Garda investigation into same; and if he will provide a schedule of all agencies currently investigating the incident. The matter in question is the subject of an ongoing investigation by my Department assisted by An Garda Síochána. As the investigation is ongoing it would not be appropriate to comment further at this point.
