496. To ask the Minister for Health the assistance available to persons diagnosed as deaf to replace their hearing aids should they become damaged; if there is a time limit on such replacement or cost; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [56121/22]

As the Health Service Executive (HSE) has responsibility for the administration of community audiology services, I have asked the HSE to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
