The Department engages with the HSE in relation to requests to add new grades to the Health Sector Consolidated Salary Scales regularly. As the creation of new grades, such as Theatre Assistants, is an operational matter for the Health Service Executive, the HSE has been requested to respond directly to the Deputy.
