NIMS is the system used by State Authorities to fulfil the statutory requirement to report incidents to the State Claims Agency.As bodies funded under section 39 of the Health Act are not state authorities, there is no requirement for them to engage with the SCA NIMS system.

474. To ask the Minister for Health the number of incidents reported on an annual basis broken down by heading on the national incident management system in each of the years 2019 to 2021 and to date in 2022 [44411/22]

As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
