190. To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the number of former civil servants who are currently serving on State boards under his remit; the number of former county managers and chief executive officers of local authorities who are currently on each of the State boards under his remit; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that no Board members appointed to the State Boards under the remit of my Department are former County Managers or former Chief Executive Officers of a local authority. Each of the three State Boards under the remit of my Department (the Data Governance Board, the National Shared Services Advisory Board and the Public Appointments Service Board) currently have one Board member that would be classified as a former Civil Servant.
