179. To ask the Minister for Health his plans to introduce regional rehabilitation services for amputees; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [34671/22]

As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.

To ask the Minister for Health the average period of time spent by a primary amputee in inpatient rehabilitation; if, after discharge from inpatient rehabilitation, amputees have access to a physiotherapist, gait training and counselling; the extent of the access to these services; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
