To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the current status of St. Andrew's Church, Suffolk Street, Dublin 2 which is owned by Tourism Ireland and that has been vacant and on sale for over five years; the number of offers that have been received for the site; the works that are being carried out to maintain the structure and prevent dereliction; if her Department has sought alternative purposes for which it could use the site; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The property referred to by the Deputy is owned and managed by Fáilte Ireland. Accordingly, I have referred the question to the agency for further information and direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
