I can confirm that my department received an application for disability allowance (DA) from this person on 26 May 2022. 

On 16 June 2022 the person concerned was requested to supply supporting documentation required by the deciding officer in order to make a decision on their eligibility.  On receipt of this information a decision will be made on their DA application and the person concerned will be notified of the outcome.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.

600. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if a decision has been made on an application for a State pension (contributory) by a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [32522/22]

The person concerned will reach pension age on 01 July 2022. Their application for State pension (contributory) was received on 07 June 2022.

According to the records of my Department, the person concerned has a total of 520 qualifying paid social insurance contributions from their date of entry into insurable employment 01/01/2012 to December 2021. This gives an entitlement to the maximum rate State pension contributory from 01 July 2022.  They were notified in writing of this decision on 16 June 2022.

I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
