To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the total number of adults and children that have received their leave to remain but continue to reside in direct provision and the number of the persons in this situation for 1 year or less, between 1 and 2 and more than 2 years. Deputy, as at 31 May there are 2,387 adults and 891 children, a total of 3,278, who have received leave to remain and continue to reside in direct provision. Please see below for a breakdown of these figures in the format as requested by the Deputy:
