EU supported financing is available for companies through business loans, microfinance, guarantees and venture capital. There are also EU funded programmes for research and innovation projects. My Department is always encouraging of the need to avail of suitable EU funding opportunities. An example is the LIFE Programme 2022 Calls for project proposals which was launched by the European Commission on 17 May 2022. LIFE funds projects under its four sub-programmes; nature and biodiversity; circular economy and quality of life; climate change mitigation and adaptation; and clean energy transition.
