The table below shows funding received under the transport element EU’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). CEF Transport is the EU's funding instrument for the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). Funding under the CEF is delivered in the form of grants allocated following competitive calls for proposals.

The Department also received reimbursed funds from the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) for the following Interreg projects: Carlingford Lough Greenway, Ulster Canal Greenway (Phase 2), North West Greenways Network and North West region - Multimodal Transport Hub. The division and allocation of this fund is the responsibility of the SEUPB.
