To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the steps she will take to ensure that the criteria for the allocation of funding for traffic wardens is amended to ensure that all schools that require a warden will get access to funding; if her attention has been drawn to the situation in a school (details supplied) in relation to dangerous traffic in the vicinity of the school and their inability to get funding approved for a warden; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The appointment of a school traffic warden is a matter for the relevant Local Authority and schools are advised to liaise the relevant Local Authority in relation to their concerns.
