To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his views on the impact on workers' rights of the Dublin Airport Authority offering jobs in cases in which applicants have to be available for 40 hours per week but are only guaranteed 20 hours; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that daa has statutory responsibility to operate, manage and develop Dublin Airport. As a regulated entity daa is required to operate the airport effectively and efficiently.

Staffing, recruitment and terms and conditions of employment are an operational matter for daa.
