1890. To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will consider allowing a derogation on GLAS plans for 2022 in order that farmers are not constrained on land use and therefore limited when it comes to saving fodder this summer allowing them to free up land for fodder avoiding a possible fodder crisis next winter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are no plans at present for any derogation in respect of the GLAS specifications. Any such derogation would require the formal approval of the EU Commission.  As always the position will continue to be closely monitored by my Department.
