To ask the Minister for Health the number of persons aged 25 years or older who have travelled overseas for specialist cancer treatment not available in Ireland between 2016 and 2021; the number of these who travelled under the EU Cross Border Directive; and if he will present this data in tabular form. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the deputy directly, as soon as possible.
