To ask the Minister for Health if he will urgently review and intervene in the continued closure of the north-east regional orthopaedic unit for elective surgeries, which is leaving persons in extraordinary circumstances; if his attention has been drawn to the significant concerns raised by eight orthopaedic surgeons to HSE management in respect of the impact closures have had on the elective list; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
