To ask the Minister for Health the current acute inpatient and critical care bed capacity by bed type, for example, intensive care unit, high dependency unit, inpatient acute, sub-acute and any other, at each model 2, 3 and 4 hospital on 1 April 2022, including for each section 38 public voluntary hospital in which the information must be requested, in tabular form; the number at 1 January 2022, 1 January 2021, 1 January 2020 and 1 January 2019; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
