As the Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operation of public transport.

The issue raised regarding the number of times the Luas red line services have stopped, the reason for suspension of service and duration of suspension of service is a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) in conjunction with the Luas operator Transdev.
