470. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if she will outline the progress on the recognition of non-binary persons in the collection and collation of personal data within the State; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15994/22]

The collection and collation of personal data within the State is a matter for the Central Statistics Office (CSO) in line with European and International practice. I am advised that the CSO has committed to conducting research and is engaging with stakeholders on this matter.
