As the issue raised by the Deputies is an operational matter for the NMBI, I have asked NMBI to respond directly to the Deputies in that regard.

To ask the Minister for Health his views that it is fair for the HSE to have a policy of only hiring general nurses for clinical nurse specialist roles; the reason highly trained intellectual disability nurses are being overlooked for these roles; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
