To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the number of exceptional appeals made each month by schools that were refused the number of SNA or resource hours applied for regarding children and young people with special needs between 1 September 2019 and 30 October 2021; the number of appeals which were successful; the number of appeals with were upheld in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The appeals process for SNA allocations is dealt with by the National Council for Special Education (NCSE), therefore I have referred your query to the NCSE for direct reply.
