197. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if persons aged 70 years of age or over are still entitled to renew their driving licence free of charge; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13086/22]

I can confirm that there is no charge for a driving licence issued to a person aged 70 or over.
