To ask the Minister for Health the extent to which private diagnostic services are covered or discounted by a medical card; the conditions which apply to those under 16 years of age; if he intends to amend the relevant legislation to remove private diagnostic charges for those under 16 years of age; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
