To ask the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the difficulty experienced by those who hold a medical card and are seeking root canal treatment; and the way a family can proceed in order to receive this urgently needed treatment for a 17-year-old medical card holder from a low-income family who cannot afford the treatment given that the dentists they contacted have quoted up to €850.
