169. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his attention has been drawn to the issues with the 175 bus route (details supplied); if he will ensure that a company resolve this issue with its service; and if he will request that the company offers a customer comment form in order that customer feedback can be provided. As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has statutory responsibility for securing the provision of public passenger transport services nationally and for the scheduling of these services in conjunction with the relevant transport operators.

Therefore, I have forwarded the Deputy’s question, in relation to the timetabling of Go-Ahead Ireland Bus Route No 175 along with the possible provision of a customer comment form, to the NTA for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
