To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the annual cost of the salaries of any recently appointed ministerial Garda drivers to her Department; the cost of the annual salary of the existing civilian Garda drivers in her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I wish to inform the Deputy that two civilian drivers have been appointed to me. The annualised salary for each driver is €36,823.95.

As no Ministerial Garda drivers have been appointed, no costs arise.
