To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the agencies under the remit of his Department; the amount that has been spent on all Covid-19-related consultancy contracts by his Department and agencies under his remit in 2020, 2021 and to date in 2022, in tabular form; the amount paid for each consultant; and the reason for the consultancy. I wish to advise the Deputy that details of the consultancy services, professional fees and legal advice spend by my Department is regularly updated and published on gov.ie. Details of this spend since the Department’s establishment in 2011 up to the end of September 2021 can be found at the following link: www.gov.ie/en/organisation-information/8b97d6-consultancy-costs/. The costs for the period from October 2021 to end 2021 are currently being finalised and will be published very shortly.
The information requested for the bodies under the aegis of my Department for the period specified is set out in the table below.
